ClearView Lawn Care was founded by Deacon Steenblock, a student at Ashby — not a franchise, not a corporate crew rotating through your neighborhood. It got it's start in Ashby, MN, where it began as one person helping elderly neighbors keep up with yard work they could no longer easily manage themselves. That same approach — showing up, doing the job right, and treating every yard like it matters — is still what the business is built on today.

Outside of mowing season, Deacon's usually out on the basketball court or baseball field, or sneaking in a round of golf when the weather allows — and staying involved around town is a big part of why this business runs the way it does. It's not just a side gig; it's a neighbor showing up for other neighbors.

No. As long as gates are unlocked and pets are inside, most yards get mowed without you needing to be there. You'll always know the day it's happening.

Weather that would damage your lawn or make it unsafe to mow pushes the visit — you'll get a text letting you know before it happens, and it gets rescheduled as soon as conditions allow.

Venmo is preferred, but cash works too. Regular customers can also be set up on a monthly statement instead of paying per visit — just ask when you request your quote.
